David Muellenhoff Elected as TVHOC Vice-Chair

Livermore, CA, May 21, 2013

National Budget Planners (NBP) congratulates David Muellenhoff on his new appointment as Vice-Chair of the Tri-Valley Housing Opportunity Center (TVHOC). David serves as General Counsel for NBP, and previously served as TVHOC's Treasurer this past year. He is pleased to have the opportunity to work with TVHOC again, in their unanimous decision electing him as Vice-Chair on May 21, 2013.

The Tri-Valley Housing Opportunity Center (TVHOC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit set up by five cities (Livermore, Dublin, Pleasanton, Danville, and San Ramon) and two counties (Alameda and Contra Costa), in the Tri-Valley region of the San Francisco Bay Area. TVHOC was set up by these local governments in partnership with State and Federal agencies to provide a central location for information regarding: housing counseling, foreclosure prevention and first-time homebuyer assistance services to the Tri-Valley community. TVHOC has been recognized as the first and only institution of its kind in the United States, and it serves as a model for housing partnerships/establishments nationwide.

National Budget Planners is a 501(c)(3) non-profit credit counseling organization that has assisted consumers since 2002. Over the years, NBP has helped thousands of families through Credit Counseling/Debt Management Services. NBP negotiates a plan that reduces clients' monthly payments on credit cards, installment loans, collection accounts, doctor bills, and any other un-secured debt that the client might have incurred. By creating affordable repayment plans, clients who have over extended themselves with consumer debt are able to achieve a debt-free lifestyle. NBP also maintains an active presence in the community by providing free seminars and education on Budgeting, and Understanding Credit.
